Let’s build something people remember

DVOC is about more than modifying a car.

It’s about the story behind the car, the products used along the way, the places it goes, the things that go right — and occasionally the things that definitely don’t. 😂

At the centre of it all right now is Mike, my 2011 Squeeze Green Ford Fiesta.

Mike started as an ordinary used Fiesta and is gradually becoming something much more individual. Every modification, repair, road trip, car show and questionable idea becomes another part of the DVOC story.

And there’s plenty more to come.

I’d love automotive businesses and brands to become part of that journey.

I’m not a professional influencer

Let’s get this bit out of the way.

I’m not a mechanic.

I’m not a professional car builder.

I don’t have a warehouse full of supercars, a huge production crew or millions of followers.

I’m a bloke in my 40s with a bright green Fiesta, far too many ideas and a genuine love of cars.

And that’s rather the point.

DVOC follows what owning, maintaining and modifying a car is actually like for an everyday enthusiast.

If I fit something, I use it.

If I like it, I’ll say why.

If something gives me trouble, that becomes part of the story too.

I want DVOC partnerships to feel genuine rather than like another advert someone scrolls past.

The 12-Month Story

For the right partnership, I’d particularly love to create a 12-month DVOC story.

Instead of one sponsored post, we document what it’s actually like to live with a product or vehicle over time.

That could include installation, before-and-after photography, first impressions, road trips, long-term updates, website features, social content, events and a final look back after months of genuine use.

For a vehicle partnership, the vehicle itself could become a major DVOC project — documenting the experience from collection through to everyday life, trips, events and eventually handing the keys back.

The idea is simple:

Don’t just advertise it. Live with it.

Why work with DVOC?

Your product becomes part of the car

I’m not particularly interested in:

“Here’s a product. Here’s a photo. Thanks very much.”

I’d much rather tell the story.

A partnership could include the initial idea, choosing the product, installation, before-and-after photographs, first impressions and updates after actually living with it.

If that product stays on Mike, it can continue appearing naturally in future DVOC content too.

That means the partnership doesn’t necessarily end when the first post goes live.

Real-world exposure

Mike isn't a show car sitting under a cover.

He's my actual car.

I drive roughly 250–300 miles every week, so modifications and products are being used in normal everyday conditions.

Shopping trips, commuting, long journeys, car shows, local meets and everything in between.

As DVOC grows, I want to attend more automotive events and give the car — and the companies involved with it — even more opportunities to be seen.

What could we work on?

There are plenty of opportunities with Mike and future DVOC projects.

Wheels & Tyres
Wheels, tyres, refurbishment, wheel accessories and related products.

Styling & Bodywork
Splitters, skirts, spoilers, grilles, bodykits and exterior styling.

Wraps & Tints
Roof wraps, graphics, decals, window tinting and other creative ideas.

Lighting
Interior and exterior lighting and styling products, where suitable for road use.

Maintenance & Performance
Brakes, filters, servicing products, replacement components and sensible upgrades.

Detailing & Tools
Cleaning products, coatings, tools and equipment that can be tested through actual DIY jobs.

Vehicle Partnerships
Cars supplied or loaned for a fixed period, manufacturer opportunities, leasing partnerships and longer-term vehicle trials.

And I'm always open to something I haven't thought of yet.

If you've got an interesting automotive product and think:

“I wonder what he'd do with this...”

You've probably found the right person. 😂

More than Mike

Mike is where the DVOC story starts.

He doesn't have to be where it ends.

I want DVOC to grow into different cars, different projects, road trips, events, product testing and experiences that ordinary car enthusiasts can relate to.

That means I'm interested in building relationships with companies now that could continue across future DVOC projects.

I’m not expecting everything for free.

Sometimes a collaboration might involve a supplied product. Sometimes it could be a discount, a trial, access to something interesting or simply an opportunity that gives us both something worth talking about.

The important part is that both sides get something worthwhile from it.

What can DVOC offer?

Depending on the partnership, this could include dedicated DVOC website coverage, social media posts, photography, product mentions, installation stories, long-term updates, event exposure and genuine feedback from actually using the product.

I’m also happy to tag and credit the companies involved so people can find out exactly what was used and where it came from.

Most importantly, I can offer something DVOC has been built around from day one:

A genuine enthusiast.
A genuine car.
And a genuine story.

🚀 Fancy becoming part of the DVOC story?

Whether you're a huge automotive brand, a small independent business or somewhere in between, if you've got a product, service, vehicle — or even a slightly mad idea — that could fit into the DVOC story, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm interested in genuine collaborations where we can create something worth following, not just a product photo followed by a quick “thanks!”

It could be wheels, tyres, styling, wraps, lighting, detailing, tools, maintenance products or even the keys to something completely different for a while.

And it doesn't have to start with a huge sponsorship deal.

A product, a discount, a trial, an opportunity or simply a conversation could be the start of something much bigger.

Got an idea? Let's talk.
